A Lifetime Of Giving

>Mildred “Millie” Ellington has devoted herself to helping preschool children at KCCA’s Mother Rice preschool. Ellington also volunteered at Kaiser for more than 25 years. A resident of Palolo Chinese Home, Ellington’s memory is sharp, and she enjoys doing crossword puzzles. Ukulele Scholarships

Ukulele Festival Hawaii, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing laughter, love and hope to children and adults through the ukulele, awarded four $1,000 scholarships to deserving individuals who are furthering their education and have an interest in ukulele playing.
