Teens from across the island gathered Jan. 2 for the ultimate high school dance party at Hawaiian Brian’s. Hosted by Kutmaster Spaz, Milano Freezer and 88Tees, ‘Teen Vibe’ included dancing all night and a performance by 808 Breakers.

Pearl and the Miss Hawaii USA organization presented Legs For A Cause, a benefit for Miss Hawaii USA 2010 and the Samoa Relief fund. Guests and judges voted on their favorite pair of legs from the 2010 Miss Hawaii USA contestants. The winner was Renee Nobriga.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse’s happy hour, “Cocktails on Kalakaua,” has been drawing lots of local regulars to the upscale, New York-inspired restaurant and bar in Royal Hawaiian Center. Cocktails on Kalakaua features drink and appetizer specials daily from 4 to 7 p.m.

Doraku Sushi

It was a pre-party of happiness with DJ Steve Aoki as he explored the movement of electronic music through sushi, sake and evolutionary sound at Doraku at Royal Hawaiian Center. Steve is the brother of Doraku owner Kevin Aoki - sons of Benihana founder Rocky Aoki. Sister Echo also attended. The event featured Doraku’s new happy hour menu deals.
