With jubilation over the UH Warriors’ major success this season at a peak, it was only fitting that UH football players were honored guests Dec. 8 at the Kapolei Hale tree lighting ceremony. The celebration was part of the third annual West Oahu Electric Light Parade that kicks off Kapolei City Lights. The procession of 25 vehicles and three floats began at Kapolei Fairgrounds, traveling along Kealanani Avenue to Farrington Highway, onto Kamokila Boulevard and concluding on Uluohia Street with a grand finale at Kapolei Hale where the athletes joined Mayor Mufi Hannemann to turn on the lights on the massive Christmas tree.
