Hawaii Self Storage celebrated the grand opening of its fifth and newest location in Kapolei with a weekend-long monster mash in late October. At their own risk, brave ghouls and goblins entered a Spooky Trail filled with eight spook-tacular scenes. For those in need of more treats than tricks, there were activities such as pumpkin decorating, coloring contests, “fishing for spooks” and pumpkin bowling in the Kids’ Zone. And party-goers both young and old cast a spell each night during a costume contest, where winners of the scariest and cutest costume were crowned. All proceeds benefited the Kalaeloa Homeless Shelter, Kapolei High School and Kapolei Public Library. For more information on the Kapolei storage facility, call 949-SAFE (7233).
