Kapolei continues to grow, with Goodwill being one of the most recent tenants to break ground. The groundbreaking celebration for Goodwill’s Ohana Career and Learning Center in the Kapolei Business Park was conducted June 1, attracting 100 guests and community leaders including U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye and Mayor Mufi Hannemann. The center is scheduled to open late in 2008 and will provide area communities with employment and training services. An estimated 1,600- plus people are expected to be served by the center annually. To learn more about Goodwill’s employment services, visit www.higoodwill.org or call 836-9675.
