A sold-out tournament welcomed 160 players to spend the day at Pearl Country Club, teeing off in support of Hawaii youths. The third annual Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii Charles C. Spalding and Certified Commercial Investment Member Hawaii Chapter Golf Tournament (yes, it’s a mouthful, but all for a great cause!) was held May 25. Money raised directly benefits more than 2,000 youths in island Boys & Girls Club development programs. One lucky prize winner received a Wii. No one, however, managed to get lucky enough to win the hole-in-one prize — a Honda from Pflueger Honda. Kimo Kahoano served as emcee and among the many volunteers were members of the U.S. Secret Service.
