Aiea Orchid Club’s 27th Annual Orchid Show

While orchid enthusiasts from all over Oahu flocked to Aiea Elementary School for the sights and smells of their favorite bloom, they were treated to a weekend of much, much more. From June 13 through 15, the Aiea Orchid Club conducted its 27th annual Orchid Show. The crowds did not go home disappointed, as colorful flora displays, hands-on and insightful demonstrations and plant sales galore filled the school’s cafeteria.

The Ewa Orchid Society hosts its own annual show and sale this weekend (July 11-13) at Ewa Elementary School. Admission is $2. See “Highlights” on page 16 for more details.
