What’s all the commotion pho? Pho Kitchen, that’s what!

Market City Shopping Center’s newest eatery opened this summer offering more than 50 Vietnamese cuisine choices and specializing in the popular noodle soup, pho.

Owners Alex and Sandy Chong decided to close their photo lab, Aloha Professional Imaging, which formerly occupied the 540-square foot-space between Cafe Kaila and Anytime Cafe, and opted for the more appetizing approach inspired by their neighbors.

“First thing at Market City, people come down here looking to eat, and that’s it,” explained Sandy, laughing, “so I decided it was time to change into a restaurant.

“I try every month to have a different special going on though, so I hope that brings people back every time.”

Pho Kitchen is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and boasts a menu of 16 different types of traditional pho as well as other favorites like French bread sandwiches and vermicelli noodle dishes and rice plates with various barbecue meats and seafood. House specialties are Oxtail Soup and Crab Meat Noodle Soup.
