The Broadway classic and winner of nine Tony awards, Guys And Dolls, is scheduled to run from May 14 to 30 at Diamond Head Theatre.
The musical comedy is based on Damon Runyon stories and features a talented cast: Lydia Pusateri as Sarah Brown, Mick Gallagher as Sky Masterson, Aubrey Lee Glover as Adelaide and Larry Bialock as Nathan Detroit.
Set in Runyon’s mythical New York City, the show is directed by Rob Duval, musically directed by Emmett Yoshioka and choreographed by Christine Yasunaga.
The story begins with a bet: Detroit, the organizer of the oldest permanent floating crap game, bets Masterson that he can’t make the next girl he sees fall in love with him. And the stage is set for a comedic and colorful show.
Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 4 p.m. Sunday, with 3 p.m. matinees May 22 and 29. Tickets cost $12 to $42, with discounts available for children under 18, full-time students, senior citizens and active military.
