Flippin’ Pancakes For Dad’s Day Breakfast

Hawaii Kai Lions Club serves its 37th Father’s Day Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. June 20 in Kaiser High School cafeteria along with live music by Maunalua.

Scrambled eggs are on the menu, as well as sausage links, pancakes, cornbread, fruit punch and coffee. Tickets cost $6 at the door, eat-in or take-out. The club also plans to sell baked goods and specialty treats.


 

Proceeds from the breakfast and bake sale go to community service projects such as painting curbs, buildings and helping with carnivals at area schools; gifts to Hawaii Kai Library; building and installing benches at the post office, schools and bus stops; hosting the annual Lunalilo Home Christmas party; helping on the Hawaii Kai Christmas parade, Hawaii Foodbank drive, beach cleanings, eyeglass recovery drive and Koko Head District Park Easter egg hunt.
