Teacher Gives Tasty G.I.F.T. To Homeless

In just one month,Vivian Chau’s Give It Fresh Today (G.I.F.T.) program at Kapiolani Community College’s Farmers’ Market collected more than 850 pounds of produce to feed the homeless.

Kahala dentist Randal Motooka will join his colleague Wilfred Miyasaki and staff for a “Dentists with a Heart” service Feb. 13 at the Downtown Dental Group clinic on Bethel Street (533-0000). They will perform free cleaning, X-rays, fillings, extractions, diagnoses and consultations on a first-come, first-served basis to patients age 12 and older that day.
