‘Iolani Palace recently hosted its Royal Garden Party, chaired by U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye and Irene Hirano Inouye. In honor of the 125th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Hawaii this year, palace grounds and guests were outfitted in Japanese-themed attire and decorations.
