THE GOLDEN BOY Oscar De La Hoya returns to the ring to challenge World Boxing Council super welterweight champion Ricardo “El Matador” Mayorga May 6 at the MGM Grand. WHERE DO the Irish go to celebrate St. Patty’s in Vegas? Fado’s Irish Pub in Henderson; Jack’s Irish Pub at the Palace Station; J.C. Wooloughan’s Irish Pub on Rampart; Lally’s on Rancho; McMullan’s Iris Pub on Tropicana; The Tilted Kilt at the Rio; and leprechauns have been known to frequent Fitzgerald’s downtown. Maybe someday Murphy’s will open an annex in Vegas?

Didja know they just signed their superintendent to an annual contract for $290,000? That’s the kind of kala college deans make ... happy to see them put our money to good use!

WE’VE TOLD you about the Shelby Auto Museum, the Wax Museum, the Elvis Museum, the Pinball Museum and more. They’ve done it again! Another Vegas museum first - The Museum of the American Cocktail, a global network of mixologists, historians, restaurateurs, collectors, chefs and writers, is celebrating the art of the cocktail with a display inside Commander’s Palace at The Shops in Desert Passage at the Aladdin. Wonder if they play Tiny Bubbles as you walk in?
