Michael Jackson’s glove sold for $49,000

WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

AT A FILM premiere in 1996, Michael Jackson threw his signature jeweled white glove (the same one he wore when he said “I do” to Debbie Rowe) into the crowd. Bill Hibble from Australia came up with the lucky catch. After Michael’s passing, the glove was put on the block, and $49,000 later, the winner is Warwick Stone, the curator of The Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Las Vegas ... If you’re a betting person, it’s a sure thing that the hotel will be displaying the King of Pop’s crystal-covered glove alongside The King of Rock’s (Elvis’) .357 magnum.

NOW OPEN ... the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip in the Showcase Mall. With three stories, it’s 42,000 square feet of fun that’s second in size only to the one in Orlando.

GET JUICE ... New at Palazzo, The Venetian and the M Resort Spa Casino: “In-Running” sports betting, where you can bet on the game during the game.

After the kickoff of select 2009 NFL games, you can bet on who’s gonna win, the over/under, if there’ll be a first down on the next play, if the punt or field goal is good and more.

LAST WEEK the entire crowd in the Palazzo’s Lavo nightclub got lucky ... Pop singer Justin Timberlake bought everyone in the club a drink. Saying “This is a very special evening. Me and my buddy started a home-grown tequila down in Mexico and I wanted to make sure you guys got a taste, so I bought everyone in the bar a shot.” It’s named after the Memphis area code where he was born. Get the link to see the video and find out how you can win $25,000, a trip to Vegas and the title of Executive Vice President of Big Ideas for 901.

CHECK OUT the “Dolls of Japan” now through Oct. 10 at Henderson Convention Center. The exhibit includes 70 sumo, warrior, Kabuki and Imperial Palace Ningyo.

WONDERING WHAT to do with that extra $5,746? Check out the Wynn Las Vegas’ new spa package that includes a two-night stay in a Tower Suite room and your choice of a custom massage or classic facial. What makes this so special from other spa (cheaper) packages? It includes a two-hour ride on G FORCE ONE, ZERO-G’s specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft that’ll deliver 15 separate 30-second weightless intervals (the same weight-lessness as on Mars) ... a $4,950 trip.

WHAT HAPPENS in Vegas ... Clark County commissioners are considering creating legislation that outlaws visitors from gyrating on the brass stripper poles that can be found in many Vegas nightclubs.

THE GOOD NEWS ... Las Vegas home sales increased for the 11th month in a row. The bad news ... About 70 percent of the houses and condos that sold were foreclosure resales (homes that had been foreclosed on in the prior 12 months).
