Bette Midler: The Showgirl Must Go On
Bette Midler: The Showgirl Must Go On

WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas… The Players Edge!

Seemed like every one of the 4,300 invited guests to the preview of Bette Midler’s new show arrived in their own stretch - ‘cause had choke limo’s parked in the Caesars Palace driveway, all the way down to the Las Vegas Strip. The $20 million production (not including the local girl’s pay check) is called “The Showgirl Must Go On.” And it’s filled with the Divine Miss M’s music and humor, like her ribbing the Cirque Du Soleil by saying, “Oh my God, I’m exhausted ... that’s what happens when you do your own singing.”

Kimo’s Vegas show tip: It’s cheaper to rent a car instead of taking a taxi to and from the strip. If you use the self-park garage, you’ll avoid the long valet and taxi lines when the show is over (especially if you bring young children).

Punk princess Pink and motocross-racing, TV star & Hart & Huntington (tattoo shop in the Palms) owner Corey Hart are pau as husband and wife. See what happens when she pops the question… just kidding, ladies.

At the Las Vegas Hilton, hitting a flush or better with $5 on the Fortune Bonus gets you a free invite into the $100,000 Paigow Poker Tournament June 26. Or you can pay $499 for a three-night stay and one entry.
