President, Hawaii Dialogix Telecom

I have been an owner of Hawaii Dialogix Telecom (HDT) since 2004, and became company president in 2005. I have overseen the company’s growth in revenue and customer base, experiencing as much as a 35 percent gain last year, while successfully acquiring or partnering with key competitors and resources.

When I first became involved in telecom, I cut my teeth in a bankrupt organization. That taught me that I must be clear in my direction.

Working in telecom and technology, you need to have an organized structure with benchmarks that gauge your success. You also have to be flexible and ready to re-strategize on a moment’s notice. I have been a huge supporter of innovation at HDT, as even three years ago we did not have the capability to provide our own Internet service to our customers.

Now, HDT has the ability to serve approximately 75 percent of the state’s population on its network, providing some of the fastest Internet speeds and exciting technology in regard to telecommunications in Hawaii. Business owners, managers and local residents in Hawaii may not realize that when it comes to phone and Internet services, you have another choice. In this economy, every business is interested in saving money, especially on recurring monthly expenses.

I understand it can be difficult to take your eye off the ball and spend time researching something you may not entirely understand. I suggest you scrutinize certain important facts on your phone and Internet bills - most importantly, what each item costs and if it is necessary to run your business. Don’t be intimidated by your bill if you don’t understand how each and every item works. Our full-service solutions allow us to provide comprehensive telecom products and services to the Hawaii business market, as well as multi-tenant, high-rise complexes, while saving our customers up to 40 percent against the competition.

Our goal is to educate potential customers on what the best solutions may be for their business or situation.

My continued vision is to develop HDT into a household and business name while competing on the center stage of technology in Hawaii.
