Wallets Return On Angels’ Wings

My dad, myself and my 18-month-old son, Koali’i, had just finished shopping at the Pearl City Walmart when we decided to sit outside and have lunch. After a few minutes we unexpectedly saw my sister and her three kids approaching us. My sister had this frantic look on her face while talking on her cell phone. She told us her debit and charge cards were missing from her wallet and may have fallen out while her daughter was holding her wallet and swinging it around.
Her two oldest kids and I went to the backside of Walmart to look. When we reached the bottom of the road, I heard someone whistle. I turned to look and a young man was gesturing to me. He asked me if we had lost something. I told him, “Yes, two charge cards.” He said, “Oh, I have it.” OMG! I was so overwhelmed with excitement, I cried a little because you rarely find good people nowadays who will return something you’ve lost. I asked for his name - Tomas -and I told him that I can treat him lunch. He said no need because he had to go.

Dear Pamela,
I was shopping at Costco Hawaii Kai during the holiday rush and carelessly lost my wallet. A Good Samaritan found it and returned it to Customer Service with everything intact. Unfortunately, he did not leave his name. I am so very grateful for his honesty, especially in a time when identity theft is on the rise. I hopes he reads this and recognizes himself. Thank you from my heart!
