hadLou’s Coffee Roasters and Island Snow have collaborated to create an ex- clusive blend of coffee that’s perfect for
this holiday season. Released on Black Friday, The Sandy Claus is a trifecta of coffees from Brazil, Costa Rica and a barrel-aged Kō Hana that gives comforting notes of chocolate toffee, sweet ripe plum and rum cake.
“The nuances we wanted to create with our blend invoke all the warm, spicy and sweet notes that are so memorable during this time of year,” say Sheila and Matt Rosete, owners of ChadLou’s.
The partnership began earlier this year when the Rosetes reached out to Island Snow.
“They inspire us! Matt was born and raised in Kailua; Island Snow was a part of the fab- ric of his childhood, and now they are part of our keiki’s memories,” says Sheila. “Obvious- ly, their legacy and track record exemplifies doing life and business in Hawai‘i well,” she adds. “Being a generational company exudes so much creativity, beauty and strength.”
