Hawaiian Electric employees celebrated this past Earth Day by joining with The Trust for Public Land to help pick up marine debris, remove invasive weeds and plant native species at Kahuku Point on O‘ahu’s North Shore. A total of 120 volunteers, including a dozen Hawaiian Electric employees and their families, came out to help. “Servpac is at the center of a local IT rev- olution,” says president and founder Richard Zheng.
“Many of our clients don’t want to maintain their own IT infrastructure, which requires they have their own highly trained technical staff, backup facilities and redundancies (like power-generation capabilities), security and state-of-the-art monitoring systems for risks like fire — every minute of every day of the year, ‘round the clock,” Zheng expands.
“We offer advanced independent and re- dundant features to guarantee business resil- iency,” he adds. “Because of that, MTP Data Center is a more protected and more resilient home for IT infrastructure and mission-crit- ical data for any organization that operates in Hawai‘i.”
