Waialua artist Bernie Moriaz is currently preparing for his solo art exhibition at Gallery on the Pali. Titled “Fun Art/Found Art,” Bernie’s “Outsider” series will be on view from Nov. 10 to Dec. 12 with a reception planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 16 (Call 595-4047 for details). As he explains on his website, “My love of found materials reflects the artistic concern that art can be made from anything, including junk.” Bernie’s show opens as another North Shore artist, Erin Browne Delventhal, closes hers at the same venue …

Ron Artis II, his wife Julia and brother Thunderstorm Artis will perform a “temporary farewell” concert from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 23 at Jerry’s Pizza Mill on Goodale Avenue in Waialua (637-8866), where Ron also will introduce his Christmas album. The trio will then fly to Germany and do gigs in towns like Leipzig and Klettbach for a couple of months.
