“Our members were so excited to gath- er and learn after a two-year hiatus due to world events,” Ho‘ohuli-McKinney says. “The conference theme was ahonui, which means patience amid long-suffering, and more than 300 people attended.”
Ho‘ohuli-McKinney has provided ser- vices to clients in clinics, therapeutic liv- ing programs, forensic housing programs, group homes, alternative learning cen- ters, military facilities, preschools, public schools, private schools, community set- tings and homes across Hawai‘i. She re-
