• SALE The Kāne‘ohe Library Bookstore is having a book, music and movie sale. It will include a spe- cial sale on DVDs during November and December, just in time for the holidays. All DVDs will be 50% off the normal low price of $2 and up. There will also be Christmas cards, calendars and small gift items. The bookstore is on the lower level of the library, which is located behind the Kāne‘ohe Police Station. • RUN/WALK The non- profit Friends of Kailua High School is sponsoring a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles) run and 1-mile walk at 7 a.m. starting at the Kai- lua High School gym (451 Ulumanu Drive). It will in- clude trophies, ribbons and medals. Net proceeds will go to Kailua High School for various programs, needs and scholarships. Entry fees are $35 for those who want a T-shirt, or $25 for those who don’t. Applications can be obtained at Kailua High School or by emailing edracers@aol.com or going to friendsofkailuahigh.com.
