or the first time since 2019, the Freedom Run/Walk will be held at 7 a.m. July 4 in and around Enchanted
Lake in Kailua.
Participants will gather for the race at Kai-
lua High School gym at 451 Ulumanu Drive. Besides connecting people, the event will raise funds to support ongoing pro- gramming and epilepsy awareness efforts
in Hawai‘i.
Participants can run, walk or form a
team. Options include an in-person 5K or 10K professionally timed run, a 1-mile un- timed walk (or stroll, skip, roll, etc.), or a meetup with friends and family.
There will be prizes for first place male and female overall in the 5K, along with medals for first, second and third place for males and females in various age groups.
The event will also feature additional prizes like top fundraiser, largest team, best dressed and others.
