New Location For Bloodmobile

he month of May marks the start of a crucial time for Blood Bank of Ha- wai‘i, and its new location at Wind-
ward Mall will make it convenient for area residents to donate.
The bloodmobile is parked in the back of the former Sears parking lot, near the corner of Haʻikū and Alaloa streets. It’s situated per- fectly to provide ample parking for donors.
The bloodmobile will be open 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Mondays-Tuesdays; noon-6 p.m. Wednesdays-Thursdays; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays. Appointments are required for all donors; safety requirements preclude walk-in donations.
“Windward Mall is currently the only pop-up location on the Windward side of O‘ahu,” says Todd Lewis, chief operating officer. (Previous bloodmobile locations in- cluded Adventist Health Castle, Kāneʻohe Bay Shopping Center and Kailua Town Cen- ter.)
