Keith Cureton is director of ethics and compliance for Kamehameha Schools. He is responsible for ensuring the organization maintains policies and procedures that are in agreement with the values of the school’s legacy. Previously, Cureton was global vice president of compliance and ethics for UPS. He holds a master’s degree in project management.
Ka‘iulani Sodaro has been appointed senior vice president of planning and development at Ward Village. She will oversee strategic planning efforts, regulatory agency coordination, infrastructure development, community engagement and government relations. Sodaro previously worked for Hilton Hotels Corp.
Joey Barroso has been promoted to risk consulting manager at Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. In his new role, Barroso will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the risk consulting unit, coordinating client consulting services and developing new service opportunities. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the position.

Haruka Shoji is associate wealth adviser at Central Pacific Bank. She joined the institution in 2018 and transitioned to Central Pacific Investment Services shortly thereafter. She is a part of the International Business Division, where she will play a lead role in growing the Japan and resident market for CPIS.
Rick Gutierrez is a mortgage loan originator with Homebridge Financial Services. In this role, he will specialize in residential mortgage loan origination for purchases and refinances on O‘ahu. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry to this position. Previously, Gutierrez was a mortgage loan originator for Compass Home Loans.
Ivy Tejada is an architectural designer with WhiteSpace Architects. She will be assisting with educational, residential and commercial projects across the state, and is currently working on Kanoelani Elementary School’s cafeteria renovation and expansion. Previously, Tejada served as a teaching assistant at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa School of Architecture.
