amantha Neyland is a strong believer in helping others, which inspired her to pursue a coaching certification to
make an even greater impact.
The Hawai‘i Kai resident has lived in
East O‘ahu with her family for seven years, and as a former Miss Hawai‘i USA and Miss Hawai‘i Teen USA winner, Neyland identifies her favorite thing about Hawai‘i as “the beauty of the land and the compas- sion in our communities.” Her goal as a “mindset coach” is to help young women unlock their next level of confidence.
“I believe that by empowering our younger generations, we better position them to become leaders, changemakers and overall fulfilled individuals,” Neyland says.
What is a changemaker? Neyland ex- plains that “being a changemaker is seeing a problem in your community and being bold enough and brave enough to work toward a solution. When I share my story with others about how I went from having an idea to standing next to the governor as
