Keeping Hawaii On The Move

I am honored that so many people have made us a part of their lives. NAPA has been in Hawaii since 1955, and today we have 42 stores, 32 of which are independently owned and operated by kama’aina families.
Over the last several years, NAPA has been able to expand and open new store locations. This has translated to added convenience and better parts availability for our customers, in addition to employment opportunities statewide.
We recently opened our newest NAPA store in Kalihi on Hart Street (off of Waiakamilo Drive). Our Hart Street location has more than 30,000 square feet of warehouse space. This allows us to stock thousands of parts that service the wide range of vehicles on Hawaii’s roads. We also have a large inventory of specialty parts – including marine parts for boats and ocean crafts – plus parts for motorcycles, imports and heavy-duty trucks.
Our growth also can be attributed to our network of NAPA AutoCare Centers, which now numbers more than 100 statewide. These independent auto-repair centers employ ASE-certified technicians, use high-quality parts and offer a nationwide warranty. They do everything from routine maintenance to major repairs. If you’re a do-it-yourself type of person, stop by one of our NAPA stores. But if you prefer to have someone assist you, stop by one of our NAPA AutoCare Centers.
NAPA has been fortunate to have grown and expanded in Hawaii. I attribute some of this to the fact that people are looking for ways to extend the life of their car, or to get better gas mileage. The other key factor is our employees. I know that’s an often overstated comment, but in our business, it’s especially important to have employees who can provide assistance to a range of customers from professional mechanics to folks just looking to change their wiper blades.
