Central Pacific Bank concluded its innovative Change for Charity campaign, which was launched to help address an unprecedented coin shortage experienced in the financial services industry, while also raising money for Hawai‘i Foodbank to help fight hunger. Kalihi Valley Receives Back-to-school Help

ALTRES held a back-to-school drive at all its office locations to benefit Kōkua Kalihi Valley and the people the nonprofit serves. Staff members compiled personalized backpacks for more than 60 resident families of Kalihi Valley and donated hundreds of additional supplies to fill a resource pantry for the school year. In addition, the ALTRES Foundation matched employee donations with a monetary gift of $5,000 to help support back-to-school efforts for families. New Reward Program Boosts Recruitment Efforts

The Hilton Grand Vacations’ Employee Referral Program is one of the newest recruitment initiatives that rewards current employees for successful new team member referrals. HGV has open positions in marketing, facility maintenance, housekeeping, food and beverage, security, guest services, sales and more. Through the program, Chuck Canady (right), marketing representative at the Lagoon Tower by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, received a $6,000 check from Bryan Kaneshiro, marketing manager at the Lagoon Tower.
