Holiday Train Rolls Into Pearlridge

The holiday season is in full swing this weekend at Pearlridge Center, starting Friday when the Pearlridge Express rolls back into town at 10 a.m. to take keiki on a locomotive journey around the mall.

The train is designed for children under 48 inches tall. It runs through Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. It will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Tickets cost $3 per person, or a 10-ticket package may be purchased for $25.

Santa also will be visiting Pearlridge Center beginning Nov. 29. Keiki are welcome to tell him what’s on their mind and have photos taken from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 29, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 30 through Dec. 15, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 16 through 23 and from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. Dec. 24. (Santa takes a break from 2 to 3 p.m. daily.)

Pearlridge shoppers also can help other local families fulfill their Christmas wish lists with the Salvation Army Angel Tree. By choosing an angel from the tree, you can help grant the wish of a needy keiki or kupuna who might not otherwise receive any gifts on Christmas. The tree is located Uptown on the second level in front of Hickam Federal Credit Union from Nov. 29 to Dec. 15.
