Castle High Craft Fair Benefits Project Grad

Shopping feels better when it benefits a good cause.

The annual Windward Holiday Craft & Gift Fair and Taste of Castle, planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the Castle High School cafeteria and campus, will donate its proceeds to the school’s 2014 Project Graduation.

Attendees can expect the usual craft fair vendors with their unique handcrafted gift items, delicious food and door prizes (donated by vendors) throughout the day. Taste of Castle ticket-holders get to try $1 recipe samples taken straight from this year’s Project Grad cookbooks (which also are on sale for $5 to $10).

For more information about the craft fair, call Teri Lynn Sato at 554-9620. To donate a prepared dish from cookbook recipes to Taste of Castle – main, side or dessert – call Ailyn Lum at 226-1228.

Sponsored by Friends and Families of Castle High School, the seniors’ Project Grad party provides a venue for students to celebrate their post-graduation hours in a drug-, alcohol- and tobacco-free environment.

More than 200 graduates are expected to participate next May.
