Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Daniel Cody has been promoted to chief investment officer (CIO) at the Honolulu-based real estate development company MW Group Ltd. In this new role, Cody is responsible for identifying, analyzing and executing all new real estate acquisitions for the company, as well as leading the team on new development projects. Cody previously was vice president of acquisitions and development at MW Group. Prior to that he worked for several companies in the development industry in Seattle, San Diego, and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Dirk K. Yoshizawa has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of Pearlridge Commercial Banking Center. Yoshizawa will oversee a group of commercial banking officers whose primary goals are to actively manage a portfolio of commercial loans and deposits. Yoshizawa joined the bank in 1995 as a bank associate. He is currently treasurer for the Honpa Hongwanji Judo Federation.
David Shores has joined Ameriprise Financial Inc. Shores previously worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for five years. He has 29 years of experience as a financial adviser. Shores has recently opened an Ameriprise branch in Kailua.
Jennifer Dotson has joined Network Enterprises Inc. as president and CEO. Dotson will lead 57 employees of the 27-year-old nonprofit in its mission to provide quality vocational rehabilitation, assessment, job training, job placement and support services for individuals with or without disabilities to have the opportunity to enjoy full benefits of competitive employment. Prior, Dotson worked at Mothers Against Drunk Driving as executive director and at Muscular Dystrophy Association as health care services coordinator.
Eric Chen has been promoted from Bank of Hawaii assistant vice president and finance and administration manager to vice president and ATM Department manager in the ATM Servicing Department. He is responsible for developing and implementing the ATM business strategy; managing ATM operations and vendors; and compliance and business development. Chen started at BOH in 2009 as a finance and operations analyst. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
