RUMOR HAS IT … Floyd Mayweather bet more than $5.9 million that the Heat would cover the spread and beat the Pacers in Game 7. Does the Pretty Boy have cojones of steel, or is this just big-time self-promotion? They don’t call him “Money” for nothin’. He frequently tweets pix of his betting slips. Between August 2010 and February 2012, he reportedly posted 46 betting slips totaling wins of almost $4 million.

WHAT DO Daylight, Light, Eclipse and the desert have in common? Now open at Mandalay Bay, a 50,000-square-foot dusk-to-dawn party called Daylight Beach Club that turns into Light as the sun goes down and Cirque du Soleil performers come out to play. Eclipse … well, that’s the name of the stage so epic it warranted its own identity. Think Ibiza, the third largest of the Balearic Islands, and you’ll get the vibe of upscale European (not in my pool) club.

SMILE, YOU’RE ON surveillance camera … The U.S. Department of Homeland Security paid $350,000 for 37 cameras on the traffic poles of the Las Vegas Strip. They are easily seen and will begin recording footage of people in the public domain … so you better not pick your nose or scratch your what-evahs. Is this crime prevention or what?

VOTED ONE OF the best golf courses in the country, Shadow Creek in Las Vegas also is one of the country’s most expensive. A round on the course from the mind of Tom Fazio will set a duffer back $500. Darts, anyone?

SEVEN OUT: The Tony Roma’s on East Sahara has closed … This is the joint where “Lefty” Rosenthal escaped a car-bombing back in ’82.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you … The Fremont Hotel turned 57. Did you know … when it was built in 1956, The Fremont was the tallest building in Nevada?

FASTER THAN you can say hocus pocus, abracadabra, the “Centerfolds of Magic” have disappeared from the Plaza. Note to the producer: Surely there’s a cheaper way to meet chicks than creating a Vegas show and stiffing your employees out of a payday.

THE PLAZA Hotel & Casino and Las Vegas Club’s new Royal Rewards program kicks off July 1. What makes this program unique is it will tier-match any other Vegas players club. New members also get a free entry into the Royal Reels $1,000 Daily Slot Tournament and loss reimbursement up to $100 of your first-day’s slot losses.

THE CAKE BOSS, Buddy Valastro, is opening an Italian-American restaurant in the Palazzo.

THE DOWNTOWN GRAND could open as early as September … In addition to the 650 new rooms with modern amenities, the hotel will feature a 35,000-square-foot casino, a pool, 11 restaurants and eight bars.
