Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 8/20/14

Alexis Dominic Javier has been hired as a digital senior marketing specialist with Servco Pacific Inc. His duties consist of planning and assisting with marketing strategies, digital campaigns, researching new opportunities, Web content management, generating midand endcampaign reports and analysis to gauge the effectiveness of online marketing. He previously served as the marketing services supervisor at Edward Enterprises Inc.

Austin Johnson has joined Servco Pacific Inc.’s marketing team as a digital marketing assistant. His responsibilities include planning and managing the company’s social media accounts. He previously owned ASH Consulting Group, where he collaborated with local businesses to provide marketing solutions.

Lena Mori has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president and facilities manager in corporate facilities with Bank of Hawaii. She also will be responsible for all aspects of managing the bank’s properties, and will assist with development and implementation of the strategic facilities plan, including its energy plan. Mori joined the bank in 2009.

Valerie King has been appointed general manager of Sea Life Park. She brings more than 25 years of executive management experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, with a strong background in Hawaii visitor attractions. She most recently served as director of marketing and business development for Kualoa Ranch.

Nicholas Tan has been promoted to vice president in Atlas Insurance Agency Inc.’s Surety division. He will continue to manage the division and staff, as well the development of the company’s surety policies and procedures. Tan has nearly 15 years of insurance experience. He also is a certified emergency medical technician.
