World Wings International ‘Not Your Ordinary Garage Sale’

World Wings International presents its 10th annual “Not Your Ordinary Garage Sale” Sunday, Feb. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McKinley High School cafeteria, featuring unique, one-of-a-kind items at bargain prices.

There will be an assortment of antiques, Pan Am memorabilia, clothing and accessories, jewelry, electronics, household items and kitchenware, toys, books and more. Betty Santoki, president of the Hawaii chapter of World Wings International, also has imported new kimono, obi and fabrics from a donor in Japan, Yoko Yoshiki, who specifically indicated that proceeds go to a worthy cause.

Featured here are some of the one-of-a-kind items to be sold at the event. All proceeds will benefit St. Francis Hospice’s volunteer program.

World Wings International is the philanthropic organization of former Pan Am flight attendants. It officially was chartered in 1959 and now has 2,400 members in 30 chapters in the United States, Europe and Bangkok. The Hawaii chapter received its charter in 1965 and has 82 members.
