Will Aiea Resident Guess Right Price?

Aiea resident Santiago Alvarez is a self-proclaimed fan of TV’s long-running game show The Price is Right.

As a contestant on the show, he was selected to “come on down” by host Drew Carey.

Interested parties can check out Alvarez’s segment today (Nov. 19) at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on CBS.

“It was one of those surreal moments where they call your name, but you don’t even realize that they call your name,” Alvarez said. He and wife Alana watch The Price Is Right as often as they can.

The couple attended a wedding in California and were able to secure tickets to the show online for free.

“It was very exciting,” he recalled. “The energy in the crowd was fantastic.

“My recommendation for anyone interested or who has ever thought they should do it should go. They won’t regret it.

“Just being in the audience is a fun time and amazing opportunity.”
