Webling Offers Summer Arts

With the summer months approaching, many parents are struggling to find a way to keep their children active.

Webling Elementary School in Aiea offers a way for keiki to stay busy and still have fun with via its Summer Fine Arts Program.

Comprised of two sessions, it will have courses in dance, drama, ceramics, multi-media and ukulele, as well as basic reading and math. The first session runs from June 5 to 21; the second one from June 24 to July 12.

Space is limited to 150 students. The program is open to all students in grades 1 through 5, but first priority will be given to Webling Elementary students, followed by those in other Aiea Complex schools (Aiea Elementary, Pearlridge Elementary, Alvah Scott Elementary and Waimalu Elementary).

Tuition is $160 for both sessions. Fee includes supplies. Registration is required by April 26 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications are available at Webling Elementary and all Aiea Complex schools.
