Nate and Shie Clark
After running an online boutique for eight years, Shie Clark decided it was time to connect with her customers directly and opened We Are Iconic at 1236 Waimanu St. (across from Ala Moana Center and Kissaten Cafe), along with husband Nate.
“The thing that we have been hearing most from our customers is that there is nothing else like us,” note Shie and Nate, who moved to Hawaii last year from Japan. “They feel as if they are in New York, L.A. or Tokyo. Our target is the more urban, city-style women who fit a cool, edgy and sophisticated look.”
We Are Iconic, which opened last December, offers a great collection of the latest fashions from New York, L.A., Europe and Australia. Some of the brands you’ll find are Cameo, James Perse, Current/Elliott, Eugenia Kim, Joie, Elizabeth and James, Clu and Paper Denim & Cloth.
