Waipahu Celebrates Library Week

As part of National Library Week, Waipahu Public Library offers two free Wednesday programs at 5:30 p.m. tonight (April 1) and 6 p.m. April 8. This evening, the library

features a screening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, which finds little Alex maneuvering through his bad day with little sympathy from his family.

Then, April 8, Christopher Greywolf presents “Knights & Armors with Greywolf,” in which he takes the audience on an educational tour through the chivalrous age in Europe. This program is suitable for age 8 and older.

According to the library, Greywolf is a Native American with more than 10 years of experience in weapons smithery, and is Hawaii’s only professional medieval armorer.

In addition to his weapons background, Greywolf also is a martial arts instructor and founder of nonprofit The Golden Horde.
