An active member of KEY Project’s board of directors, Jeaney Garcia is leaving her job as Punahou athletic director to rejoin Positive Coaching Alliance Hawaii as executive director, which fits with her other job as liaison to Hawaii High School Athletics Association. An athlete all her life, Jeaney played semi-pro basketball and was on Nike’s elite running team, The Janes. Where is she this week? Running April 21 in the Boston Marathon with 36,000 others. (Yes, she was there last year.) Look for more of PCA’s good sportsmanship lessons coming to Windward soon …
