A great cast is ready for HPU’s musical Fiddler on the Roof Nov. 7-30, but director Joyce Maltby still seeks some strong, skilled males for the Russian bottle-dance scene, and maybe a trombonist (391-2000). Fiddler is special to her, Joyce says, because it’s her heritage. Her mother was born in a Russian town about the time the play’s story unfolds. She also directed the late Glenn Cannon as Tevye in an earlier show in Honolulu, and his foundation is underwriting HPU’s production … Kaneohe’s Forest Jenkins has joined the Porter McGuire Kiakona & Chow law firm as an associate, moving over from work in the City Prosecutor’s office …
