Take A Vacation In Space At WCC’s Hokulani Imaginarium

Hokulani Imaginarium manager Mary Beth Laychak is eager to show off the facility’s newly expanded 85-seat auditorium with its latest fulldome show for astronomy fans of all ages.

The Windward Community College venue will present the family program “Perfect Little Planet” at 7 p.m. Friday, and again at 7 p.m. June 28.

According to Laychak, the story follows a friendly alien family looking for the ideal vacation spot in our solar system. Their quest leads the audience past planets, moons, a comet, the lightning storms of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn and much more.

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, military and UH students, and $5 for children 12 and younger. For reservations and more information, call 235-7433.

The next “Stargazing” show is April 10.
