Rosensweigs On Reader Stage

Windward Readers Theatre closes out the spring season and its run of World War II plays with three stagings of The Sisters Rosensweig in Pohai Nani auditorium.

Performances of the 1993 Broadway hit are at 7 p.m. May 5 and 7, and 2 p.m. May 10. The play focuses on three successful Jewish sisters — Hong Kong bank president Sara, radio talent and housewife Gorgeous, and journalist Pfeni — who come together to celebrate a birthday and take stock of their lives, loves and careers.

Vanita Rae Smith directs the play by Wendy Wasserstein, with Jo Pruden, Shari Lynn, Sandy Ritz, Lorna Mount, Jim Tharp, Chris Higgins and Gerald Altwies starring.
