Renowned Golfers Join Kapolei Golf Tourney To Help Local Groups

Kapolei Golf Club will host the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship from Sept. 16 to 22, and among the golfers coming are Hall of Fame player Nick Price and Masters champion Larry Mize.

Mize has won four PGA Tour events, and Price is a two-time PGA Tour champion and has placed in a number of other international events.

These accomplished golfers join others in an event that is designed to benefit the community. All proceeds will go toward the Pacific Links Hawaii Foundation, a nonprofit that cultivates and sustains programs that deal with the ecosystem, children and culture. Last year, the foundation raised $100,000 for local groups including Kaala Farm, Kapolei Community Development Fund, Malama Learning Center, University Of Hawaii – West Oahu and Kupu.

Tickets now are available to attend the championship. Prices range from $10 a day (pre-sale) to $40 for a tournament pass.
