Do you have what it takes to be the next hot fashion designer? Always dreamed of showing your work on the runways of New York City’s Fashion Week? This is your chance! Project Runway Season 13 is now casting, offering designers an opportunity to win $100,000 or more to launch or expand their own fashion line.

Minimum age to apply for the show is 21.

Application deadline is April 14, 2014.

L*Space Trunk Show At Rebecca Beach

Rebecca Beach at Kahala Hotel & Resort will host an L*Space trunk show April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring custom fittings with the brand’s designer Monica Wise.

The boutique also has released new prints of its original tees, as well as totes by Dezso (see photo). It also has restocked their stores with the popular Flash Tattoos X Goldfish Kiss, a line of jewelry-inspired temporary tattoos.

Rebecca Beach also is located in The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort.

Patty’s Closet One-Year Anniversary

Patty’s Closet fashion boutique in Windward Mall marks its one-year anniversary with a three-day celebration. Festivities include: April 4 – A spring fashion show at 7 p.m. featuring Mrs. Hawaii International contestants.

April 5 – A makeup and beauty blending bar courtesy of Motives makeup from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6 – A trendy trunk show featuring various local designers from 1 to 6 p.m.
