A ‘Magical’ Experience Takes Place At Kāne‘ohe Elementary
National and local officers of Society of American Ma- gicians, an organization ded- icated to the performing art of magic, recently recognized Kāne‘ohe Elementary School principal Derek Minakami and academic coach Cherisse Yamada. They brought a na- tionally recognized STEAM (science, technology, engi- neering, arts and mathemat- ics) enrichment program, the Society of Young Magicians, to their campus.
