huimanu Elementary School will hold an Aloha ‘Āina 3Rs School Recycling Drive from 9 to 11 a.m.
Items accepted include various types of scrap metal including bicycles, washers and dryers, along with TVs, computers, printers, scanners and monitors.
Other items that will be accepted are confi- dential documents in locked bins to be shred- ded off-site (limit two boxes per car), HI-5 alu- minum cans, plastic and glass bottles, printer cartridges and toner.
In addition, the community can recycle lap- tops, game systems, cameras, cell phones, new and gently used clothing and household items, and used cooking oil in sealed containers. Only residential materials are allowed.
Proceeds from scrap metals, used cooking oil and HI-5 beverage cans and bottles will go directly to ʻĀhuimanu Elementary.
