celebrating the school’s 50th anniversary will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on March 11 at the campus to support student scholarships.
Runners and walkers are invited to join stu- dents, alumni and the community. There is a maximum of 300 participants allowed. The cost for teams of five is $100. For individuals, it is $25. For University of Hawai‘i students and state Department of Education employees with ID, the cost is $5. In addition, an inaugural golf tournament to benefit the school’s Ke Kula Kamaliʻi ʻo Hāna- iaulu childcare center is on March 17 at Pearl Country Club. Registration will be at 10 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon and an awards banquet at 6 p.m. Golf sponsorships start at $1,500. Register online through March 10.
