alloween is a favorite holiday at Windward Community College’s Hōkūlani Imaginarium, and the
monthly schedule is designed to be a treat for all. For starters, the public can join present- er and storyteller Krissie Kellogg, who will lead a spooky tour of the Halloween constel- lations at 7 p.m. Oct. 12.
Then, there will be a double feature of events on Oct. 29. The first is Halloween Celestial Origins at 1 p.m. Participants can learn the history of Halloween and how it fits into the seasons. The second event is titled Mayan Archeoastronomy and will take the viewer on a journey of the way Mayans have viewed and understood the universe. In addi- tion, there will also be Nightwalks at 1 and 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 29, which will include a virtual tour of a haunted graveyard.
