     U.S. Reps. Ed Case and Kaiali‘i Kahele recently announced that 12 Native Hawaiian pro- grams based in Hawai‘i have been awarded grants totaling $1.18 million to help pre- serve the indigenous history, heritage and culture of the state. Among the recipients of the grants, which were administered by the Insti- tute of Museum and Liberty Services through its Native American/Native Hawaiian Museum Services program, is Papahana Kualoa’s proj- ect, ‘Ili‘ilikauhale.
