 LJA Students Get Their Hands Dirty In Honor Of Earth Day
    Recycled art, beach clean- ups and gardening were just a few of the myriad activities that Le Jardin Academy stu- dents took part in to celebrate Earth Day.
  No matter what age, all grade levels — pre-kindergar- ten to high school — partici- pated. The full day of activi- ties included creating recycled art, trash-recycle sorting, a microplastic cleanup at Kala- ma Beach, native plant resto- ration at Kawainui, a cleanup at Nā Pōhaku, a waste audit, recycling of crayons, farm-to- table cooking, a visit to Keiki and Plow, gardening, worm composting and more.
